Good morning from Tyler, Texas! As I sit here sipping my coffee and watching the Today Show with Hoda & Jenna, I can’t help but smile as I type this! This weekend was an absolute dream, and going through all of the photos – I am SO happy to share this special weekend with you!
It’s hard to believe my Bachelorette has come and gone, and we are one step closer to saying I do!
30A steals a little piece of my heart every time I visit. Each little community along the highway has it’s own charm and flare, and I find new things to fall in love with each time I go. We lucked out because the weather was absolutely beautiful, and I already miss the sound of ocean back here in Texas! I couldn’t dream of a better place to celebrate my Bachelorette! It was the BEST weekend, and here are all the details!
Saturday
We arrived mid-morning to Seacrest, Florida (just a few miles from Seaside) to our beautiful beach house! Our house was absolutely gorgeous and in such a great and easy location to access the beach! We walked in to find the house decked out in the most adorable decorations, balloons galore, delicious Sugar and Heart cookies, and precious gifts from 30A Beach Girls and Sprinkled with Pink! (More on that coming in the next Wedding Wednesday post!)
Awkward arms and a very wrinkled shirt, but so happy to be there! 🙂
After settling in, we changed into our swimsuits and headed out to the beach to walk to one of my favorite casual lunch spots on 30A, Crabby Steves! We had some yummy seafood and fruity drinks before heading back down to the beach to spend the rest of the afternoon soaking in the sunshine!
Once the sun started to set we headed back to the house to clean up for dinner that evening at 723 Whiskey Bravo! This is one of the restaurants we visited while on our Miss America trip, and the food is so yummy! I highly recommend the mac and cheese bites! Also, another really great perk of Whiskey Bravo is they have a shuttle service that will pick you up for dinner and take you home after! This was so helpful since most of us flew in and didn’t have cars there.
We finished off the night back at our beach house with a lingerie shower and playing What Do You Meme! It was a fun night full of a lot of laughs and priceless memories I’ll cherish forever!
Sunday
The next morning I was up bright and early so excited to start the day! Kayla, my Miss Pennsylvania and I went on a morning walk down 30A to Alys beach for some coffee and sight seeing. I could walk down 30A forever, it is absolutely breathtaking and SO nice. We returned to the house for breakfast and mimosas with the rest of the gang before getting ready to go back to the beach!
We spent most of the day relaxing on the beach, taking lots of pictures, having girl talk, munching on snacks, and enjoying the sun! Just before dinner we got dressed and headed back down to the beach for some sunset photos before heading to Seaside to explore the food trucks! I couldn’t leave Seaside without having a Meltdown Grilled Cheese, and once again it did not disappoint!
Post-dinner, we hopped on our golf carts to Rosemary Beach to Cowgirl Kitchen to enjoy some Ice Cream Nachos… you read that right! ICE CREAM NACHOS! 2 of my favorite things, combined into one delicious treat! We finished off the night snuggled up on couches in the living room watching one of my favorite movies, Monster in Law, before calling it a night!
Monday
The next morning we started the day with a bike ride around 30A before getting ready for brunch at The Pearl. The Pearl is an adorable boutique hotel in Rosemary Beach with the most beautiful view and a delicious brunch menu! Sadly this is where the goodbyes began as some of the girls started to head home. A few of us had later flights so after brunch we golf carted around Seaside and then went to the beach one last time!
A very special thank you to Hollie, the property manager for 30A Beach Girls. Hollie went above and beyond to make this weekend special and perfect – and the girls had the best time! If you are planning a trip to 30A, I highly recommend renting one of their properties. They have over 30 premiere properties spread across different beaches and locations along 30A, and are so easy to work with! Hollie will work to make sure whatever the occasion, your experience is seamless and special! Thank you 30A Beach Girls for welcoming us with open arms and hosting such a fun trip!
And one more very special thank you to my older sister, Morgan. Without her, none of it would have been possible! Thank you for working hard to make it such a memorable and fun weekend for me!
80 days to go!
xx,
Madison
