Is there anything better than a day at the beach? I’m convinced there’s not. I truly believe I live in the wrong state, because my heart is at the beach. If it weren’t for all of our family being right here in east Texas with us, I’d have my bags packed to move to Florida! However, we’re not leaving Texas anytime soon…so I’ll just have to settle for the next best thing, and that is days at the pool.
I’ve been spending just about every free afternoon I have by the pool, soaking in every ounce of these last few weeks of summer vacation. I’ve gotten into a solid routine and have learned to keep my beach/pool bag packed and in our laundry room for easy access. I can just throw on a swimsuit and go and it has made life approximately 4534 times easier.
My go-to bag has been this adorable waterproof tote from Swig. I was gifted the leopard print and have used it every single time I’ve gone to the beach or to the pool. I love that it’s waterproof and can easily be hosed off or wiped down after use to clean up sand. We took it to Jamaica with us and it was the perfect size for Drew and I to pack our things for long days at the beach! I’m already eyeing this adorable coral print that launches August 30, so cute!

Beach Towel // I bought a couple of these cute towels this year and they’re only $10!
Sun Hat // This hat is my favorite of the season! It’s a bit of a splurge, but so high quality and so cute on!
Beach Reads // I’m currently reading The Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand and I can’t get enough! The perfect mixture of a bit of mystery and suspense mixed with summer romance and the dreamy details of a summer in Nantucket. Next up on my list to read is Beach Read by Emily Henry!
Lip Glossy // I love this stuff. Hydrating, moisturizing, contains vitamin E, has a glossy finish, and smells like coconut, it’s a summer winner for sure.
Sunglasses // I’ve been rotating these two pairs of sunglasses all summer, depending on my mood. Great quality, but won’t break the bank!
Sandals // One of the comfiest pairs of sandals I own! I love that they’re easy to slide on, and they are cushioned on the bottom making them so comfortable!
Air Pods // If I’m not reading my air pods are in! I have been taking a few online classes that I can listen through the modules on my air pods while laying in the sun or tune to my favorite summer playlists.
Sunscreen // I’ve been using this face sunscreen for over a year now, and it’s my very favorite! Hydrating, lightweight and gives you the prettiest glow. This spray sunscreen for body is another favorite. If you’re looking for a more affordable option, Drew and I also love this sunscreen!
Slim Can Cooler // Keeps your drink cold for SO long! I’ve been really into Celsius this summer, especially by the pool! But it also works very well with a Truly 🙂
And of course that adorable waterproof tote I mentioned earlier!
