The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is here!
Now that I’ve shared several of the items that caught my eye as favorites, I also want to share what is on my wishlist. Since I am not a cardholder, I’ll be shopping on the 28th when the sale is opened to the public. Last year I was able to snag this Tory Burch crossbody in a darker brown, but the other items on my wishlist sold out. So, we shall see if there’s any luck with my wishlist items this year!
I also want to say, I realize this sale is not for everyone! Social media is a funny little place, and often times when it comes to big sales like this one, I feel like it gets even crazier and sometimes there is unnecessary pressure to feel like you NEED to shop, when in reality you don’t need any of it. In my opinion, I do feel like there are some good deals on items such as the shoes, outerwear, beauty products, and handbags. If you are on the market for any of those items, I do feel like it’s at least worth looking into before they hit the store at regular prices for the fall. However, I’m never going to encourage you to feel like you need to spend thousands and thousands of dollars (especially when I’m not doing it myself) just because it’s a big sale.
I hope more than anything by sharing some of my favorites and wishlist items that you too feel inspired and excited for fall to come in just a few months! For me, that’s what I enjoy most about the anniversary sale.
As far as clothing goes, the only piece I’m seriously looking into getting would be a new pair of jeans. While there are some cute dresses and sweaters available, I’m a little overwhelmed by them all. That may be because it’s still 107 degrees here in Texas currently 🙂 If you are interested in styling outfits for the fall and purchasing more apparel, my suggestion is to head over to Caitlin Covington‘s or Amanda John’s blogs. I love their style and they each do huge try on’s and styling sessions of many of the pieces from the sale.
So here are the items on my wishlist that I am currently considering. Like I said, items sell quickly, so I don’t anticipate purchasing all of these, but I will have my eye on them when the sale opens to everyone!

I’ve been using the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder for about 2 years now, and in my opinion it is the BEST powder out there! I can tell a big difference in my makeup when I don’t use it. I was excited to see this set in the sale and hope to restock while it’s such a good deal!
I’m hoping these Steve Madden booties don’t sell out before I am able to shop, although I have a feeling they will! I love the tan suede color and feel like I could get so much wear out of them this fall and winter.
A classic and stunning pair of stud earrings! I know I would be able to wear these forever! A simple and classic accessory to style over and over!
A few of my favorite bloggers have RAVED about this stuff and I am ready to give in to the hype to try it out!
I feel like now is a great time to invest in a new pair of quality denim before the fall and school year begins! I own one other pair of Good American denim and love the brand.
All of the mules sold out SO fast in last year’s anniversary sale! I’m hoping to snag this darling pair from Steve Madden! I love wearing mules as we transition from summer to fall and temperatures are still warm. These are so pretty!
