And I am extra excited today, because today I introduce you to my bridesmaids! Say hello to 12 of the most amazing humans ever!
I am sharing a little bit on each of my girls, how we met, and what I love most about them!
I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world to call these women my people. They are a stellar group of accomplished, kind, hard-working, driven, caring, FUN, and most of all God-fearing women of faith. I could not imagine spending my wedding day without them!
So, let’s meet ’em!
Mallory & Morgan
Malloy, my little sister, is my Maid of Honor! Basically, Mal Pal and I are the same person, just one is blonde and the other brunette. Seriously, she’s the ying to my yang. We are two of a kind, and about as close as sisters can get. Mallory has the purest and most gentle heart of anyone I’ve ever known, and truly is the best person. She inspires me daily with her love and compassion for others. She’ll graduate from Texas A&M next month and will be starting Baylor’s Speech Pathology program in the fall, along with competing for Miss Texas!
My older sister Morgan is my Matron of Honor and my biggest role model. For 26 years I’ve followed her every move, and wanted to be just like her! Morgan is the most driven, hard-working, and steadfast girl there is. She loves hard, and is genuine to her core. She is a new mama to the sweetest blessing in our family – baby Baker, and life has not been the same since! Morgan is killing the working mom life as an accomplished lawyer all while being the best mama to Baker! She and her husband Daniel live here in Tyler, and I’m so thankful to be so close to them!
Natalie
My childhood best friend – there is likely no other friend who knows me better than Natalie. I swear we can communicate through our eyes. Natalie moved to Fairfield in 1st grade, and we were basically attached at the hip all the way through college. Nat is a selfless and caring friend that puts other first, and is always ready to make the most of any situation. I have laughed till I cried with her and made priceless memories over nearly 20 years of knowing her. I know I can count on her for anything! She is happily married to her husband JP and recently started a health and wellness blog – I’m a proud friend!
Meagan
Meagan and I have been friends since we were basically in diapers, and what a ride it’s been! We’ve experienced so many different seasons of life together, and have truly made so many memories throughout the years. Meg is one of those friends that challenges you in the best of ways, and is always the easiest person to just talk about life and get advice. Her and Natalie have been there through so many big life moments, but also millions of small moments in between that are just as important and meaningful. Meg is a 5th grade teacher in Grapevine, and truly one of the best people I know!
Abby
My big from Theta, Abby! Everyone needs an Abby in their life. This girl might be the most loyal friend I’ve ever known. She has the biggest heart for those she loves, and lucky for me I’ve been able to call her one of my best friends since 2014. She took me in immediately right into college, and was there for me through thick and thin. She is stunning on the outside, but her heart is just as beautiful! Abby is now a PA in Houston slaying life with her beauty and brains.
Ashley
The sisterhood is real y’all! Ashley is my forever Miss Oklahoma, and my long-lost soul sister. We were meant to be friends forever, we just had no idea 5 and 6 years of competing for Miss Texas and Miss Oklahoma would lead to a friendship like this! Ash is one of the most precious people you’ll ever meet, and has a way of making every person she knows feel so loved and special. She is currently studying law at OU and will marry her love Cade in July!
Tianna
Tia was my first friend from Miss America, and the minute we met in the Orlando airport I knew it would be such a sweet friendship. She’s my Miss Wisconsin and the biggest boss babe I know. Seriously one of the most driven, articulate, amazing people ever. She has a podcast called The Grit Behind the Glitz, and is killin’ it while inspiring so many with her talents! Miss America gave me many blessings, and her and Ashley’s friendships are two of my most treasured.
Courtney
Say hello to Courtney! This girl… I could go on and on about her. She is the definition of a true friend– someone that is always there, good times and bad, there to celebrate the victories and also to pick up the pieces when life begins to crumble. Courtney was my freshman year roomie, and my confidant all throughout college. The purest heart and a genuine friend always. She now lives in Austin, working for Dell, and will be marrying her soulmate Ricky in October!
Anjelica
I met Anjelica when we were both awkward 15 year olds at a Miss Texas preliminary, and it was pure fate because the Lord knew I needed this soul sister in my life! As you can see this photo is from her wedding in September of 2019 and she was the most STUNNING bride ever! She and her husband, Clark, are now expecting their first sweet baby boy – Baylor in June! Anj is the sweetest soul with an impeccable sense of style in all things!
Morgan
Next up, Morgan! Morgan was my Theta sister and one of my roommates in college! I’ll forever be thankful for this girl and the fact that her bedroom was just a few doors down from mine in the theta house! Morgan is from Tyler and went to high school with Drew, and is one of many reasons I met Drew and ended up with him! Living with her are some of my best college memories — she is fun, goofy, and a sincere friend. Morgan is a CPA in Houston and is also a #covid19bride who married her husband Campbell a few weeks ago with a big celebration coming in August too!
Haley
I struck gold on my future family y’all. Haley is my soon to be sister-in-law, and I couldn’t imagine a better bonus sister than her! She is down to earth, funny, and the easiest person to know and love! She got married last summer to her husband Rob (who is also great!) and they live in College Station where they are both worship leaders at Grace Church! Lucky for Drew and I, their talents will be on display come May 30th and August 22nd!
Avery
Avery is Drew’s first cousin, and the minute we met 5 years ago we just clicked! I mean the girl just gets me… we share a mutual love for Keith Urban and Gilmore Girls, and also for Drew! Avery is fiercely loyal to those she loves, including my future husband and her cousin! Like I said, I struck gold on my future family, and I am so excited to officially call Avery my family too! She has a heart of gold, LOVES Dan + Shay, and is a very talented artist! She even painted a picture of Drew and I and it is amazing!
There they are! I couldn’t dream of a better group of women to help me say I do!
