….one of the sweetest moments in the first week of school. It was a very enthusiastic proclamation from one of my sweet Kindergarten babies following Bible time yesterday morning. The exact reminder I needed in that very moment that immediately sent me to my desk to write it down. He is everywhere, and He is so faithful and so so good to me.
I think it’s safe to say, this school year is off to a great start, and it’s been a great first week! I’m loving every bit of it so far! Fridays in the school year are my FAVORITE day of the week. There’s something about them… a sense of things being a little more laid back, more room for fun in the classroom, and the feeling of the entire weekend ahead… it’s just so sweet.
My life has been completely consumed here lately in preparing for this school year, getting my classroom ready, preparing lesson plans, curriculum, professional development, and so much more. If you’re a fellow teacher, you know the exhaustion that all comes before the year even starts. Moving to a new school, I’ve had a lot to learn the last few weeks, and I am feeling oh so grateful for this school, this year, and my sweet new kiddos. They’ve already stolen my heart… and we’re only on day 3!
So with that… happy back to school, happy Friday, and most of all happy weekend!

A good ‘ole target find under $5! As a teacher… great pens are a part of who I am! Found these at target and picked up a few as gifts because they’re so pretty! Black ink, pastel exterior!
With school starting, my mind has been on all things teaching these past couple of weeks. I found the cutest Etsy shop from a teacher friend and they have so many adorable back to school and teaching tees!
I’ll always love anything monogrammed. This woven bag with the monogram embroidered applique is absolutely perfect.

I love love love rattan accents in our home. We’ve been on the hunt for a while not for an accent table to go with our chair and half and I think this one would be so perfect!
