To be completely honest, I wasn’t planning on doing any coverage of the Nordstrom sale this year. I don’t know if it’s the fact that we are facing one of the hottest summers ever this year, or that I’m laser focused in on all things baby and nursery, but my interest level this year has been minimal.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Nordstrom, and will always be down for a good sale – but for some reason this year it just feels different. The sale is now open to everyone through July 31st, and I hadn’t really even taken a look at it until a few nights ago when doing a bit of research for some hostess gifts and I ended up on the Nordstrom site. I decided to sift through a few pages and ended up seeing a few products I own and love included in the sale this year.
My favorite perfume, and the scent I wore in our wedding is included, along with my favorite blush, the world-famous Barefoot Dreams blanket (we own two and love), and this year’s version of the mules I bought last year and loved to wear during the fall are all included in this round-up of favorites. I also included a few things that caught my eye like this stunning quilted jacket that I just think is so chic and classic at a great price point, along with this workout skort from a great brand, and a strapless bra with raving reviews!
While I’m a firm believer in not shopping sales just because or feeling peer pressure because of the sale hype, I did want to share the favorite picks of some things that caught my eye in case you are deciding to shop this year. If you’re one of those people who is ready to get into the fall spirit a little early, my favorite fall style inspiration always come from Caitlin Covington and her shares from the Nordstrom sale! For me, I’m soaking in summer style a bit longer and choosing to spend $ on a tiny little human’s clothing instead of new fall styles for me! 🙂
