Shop Small – 2022 Gift Guide for Small Business Saturday

Today’s gift guide is one that I am so excited to share!

This gift guide has been in the works for several weeks, and was finished just in time for Small Business Saturday! While I love Black Friday and Cyber Week, supporting small businesses will always be my absolute favorite. I feel like since having Maddox I’ve become so much more of a small business person, especially when it comes to all the baby and kid things! There’s just something about the sincerity and heart behind shopping small and supporting those businesses and the precious products they provide to make a sweet season even better!

Today, I’m thrilled to share just a few of the many small businesses that I love. I know I am missing so many, but here are just a few things I’ve been eyeing and buying this holiday season from some of my favorites. I’ve broken it down into both a regular guide and then one specifically for kiddos!

Gracefull Glories – I am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Book & Advent Scripture Cards – Kamie, the sweet owner of Gracefull Glories sent Maddox this precious book full of scriptures and her stunning illustrations! Kamie is truly so talented and also created Maddox’s custom crest for his birth announcements!

Clairebella Studio – Pink Ice Bucket – We recently added the blue version of the bamboo ice bucket to our dining room bar cart and it is perfection! Clairebella has so many fun and witty gifts, plus adorable gift wrap and wallpaper as well.

Love in Clay – Hand and Foot Clay Shadow Box – This is for my Tyler locals! Kristin, the owner of Love in Clay is the sweet mom of one of my very favorite former students! She was also my home-room mom that year and was truly such a gem! She is so kind, generous and thoughtful, and is raising three kiddos to be the same. My class this past year gifted me a gift certificate to Love in Clay for my baby shower, and I knew this acrylic shadow box with Maddox’s itty bitty hand and foot were for me! I can’t wait to do more as he grows, like the adorable plates and ornaments she has for holidays!

Sprinkled with Pink – Travel Jewelry Case and Embroidered Pouches – I first discovered Sprinkled with Pink back in 2019 when planning a reunion beach trip for my Miss America sisters! Kendra, the owner, was so generous to us and showered us with the cutest swag to represent our states! The fun continued on my bachelorette trip to 30A and I still to this day use so many of the products I have from SWP. My favorite gift to give newly engaged brides is the acrylic MRS. purse! You can get up to 60% off at Sprinkled with Pink right now for Black Friday!

Simply Jessica Marie – Nutcracker Tea Towel – I mean what is not to love? Simply Jessica Marie is hand painted watercolor dreams come true! I couldn’t resist this adorable nutcracker tea towel for the holidays! Jessica has so many precious pieces and is currently doing 20% off with code: SMALLBIZZ20!

Chick Hill Designs Custom Ribbon – This is another Tyler local business I love! We have a roll of the custom ribbon that I adore and love to use for holiday gifts, especially homemade yummy goods like gifting cinnamon rolls and other sweets for friends and neighbors! Another favorite item of mine from Chick Hill Designs are the styrofoam cups!

Proper Portraits – Classic Printed Portrait – One of my newest most prized possessions! Proper Portraits created the sweet print of my baby boy and I will treasure it forever and ever! It is already framed and on display in our living room, and I am just obsessed. This would be such a great gift item for a new mom, grandparent or even a newly married couple with a wedding photo. They can even do portraits of pets! I love that they are affordable, yet such an incredible keepsake!

Honey Bear Pages – Grand Millenial Floral Stationery – I recently shared our Christmas cards for this year from Honey Bear Pages, and I officially want one of everything from her shop! It’s the most beautiful stationery I think I’ve ever found. The Christmas cards, tags and everyday stationery items are absolute perfection. I think these cards would be a perfect gift this holiday season and you can use code SHOPSMALL today only for 20% off!

Willow Park Boutique – Pernielle Earrings – I discovered Willow Park Boutique this year and absolutely love so many of their pieces! They have stunning apparel, accessories and home decor and these Pernielle Earrings are one of my favorites!

Cailini Coastal – Rattan Photo Frame & Marble Scallop Dish – When we first moved into our house, Cailini Coastal was one of my go-to’s for home decor inspiration! My first purchase was this coffee table book and some really pretty vases we have in our living room. They are doing up to 30% off right now!

Victoria Dunn – Tinsel Dreams Headband – I’ve been following Victoria Dunn for several years now and it has been so much fun to watch her business take off and flourish! She has the most stunning collections and this velvet tinsel dreams headband is absolutely beautiful. You definitely need to check out her headband shop!

Patterned Goods – Gift Bundle – Patterned Goods is one of my favorites to gift to teachers! There are so many cute patterns, especially for notepads, perfect for a teacher’s desk. Natalie, the owner, is also a fellow new boy mama and it has been so much fun to follow along her journey of motherhood and being an awesome small business boss babe at the same time!

Golden Thread – Pink Santa Huggie Earrings – HOW CUTE are these Santa earrings?! I die. Golden Thread is another super fun shop for all of your festive holiday gifts and jewelry! The entire Christmas collection would make great stocking stuffers. Jennifer, the designer, is a fellow Texan and precious mama to four!

Elizabeth Alice Studio – Hydrangea Ornament – I have mad respect for so many of these incredibly talented artists shared in this post, and that includes Elizabeth Alice Studio! I saw a share of her Instagram a few weeks ago and went down a rabbit hole on her website admiring so many beautiful pieces. I just thought this floral ornament is so pretty!

Junonia – Scalloped Place Mat – Junonia is another business of Kamie, the artist behind Dizzy Daisy and Gracefull Glories! Junonia has beautifully crafted table linens and apparel pieces. I have one of the Ka-Mumu gowns and it is the perfect night to day gown for new mamas!

Ruth and Ralph – Music Class Bubble – Ruth and Ralph is a Fort Worth Based Boutique Children’s Company that I have absolutely fallen in love with. I bought Maddox his first Ruth and Ralph piece before he was born that was the most adorable Texas A&M Collie bubble for gameday! Although the Aggies have been heartbreakers this football season, he is the most precious fan in it! I am a lover of classic and tailored children’s clothing, and Ruth and Ralph does it so well!

Honey Bear Pages – Elf Kit – Another Honey Bear Pages find that is perfect for kiddos this Christmas! The elf kit has 22 adorable printed cards to use with your elf on the shelf to create a little holiday magic for your little ones!

Love in Clay – Hand Ornament – I shared Maddox’s shadow box in the first post, and next on my list is to get ornaments of his little hand and foot! Kristin can make adorable seasonal ones with Santa painted onto the hand, or classic and timeless ones like the simple pink example here!

Little Happies – Nativity With Stars Banner & Gingerbread Ornaments – If you have kids and you haven’t been introduced to Little Happies yet, you’re missing out! They have the most precious banners, ornaments and fun seasonal pieces like wands and birthday cake toppers for all the special occasions and milestones! I love the banners hung on kid’s book shelves and two of my favorite ornaments on Maddox’s tree are Little Happies.

Haute Totz – Puppy Cardigan and Pink Monogrammed Hooded Towel – A local small business here in Tyler that I frequent is Haute Totz! Talk about a classic children’s clothing heaven… so many of my favorite pieces are from there. They carry many brands I love like The Beaufort Bonnet Company, and also do monogramming in house! Not to mention, they basically have Santa’s toy workshop in their store that I just know Maddox is going to be obsessed with one day! For Small Business Saturday, Haute Totz is doing 20% off all clothes, shoes and Melissa and Doug toys today!

Over the Moon Gift – Memory Book – Maddox’s baby book came from Over the Moon Gift, and I am in love with it. There are so many sweet pages to document memories and important milestones throughout his baby years! They have a lot of sweet seasonal, newborn and birthday pieces to make those moments extra special!

Namesake Celebrations – Heirloom Christmas Stocking – I ordered Maddox’s Christmas stocking from Namesake Celebrations and I can’t wait for it to come in! They also have so many precious Christmas pieces like the most beautiful tree topper bows and skirts from the Simply Jessica Marie Collaboration!

Gracefull Glories – Advent Scripture Cards – I have these precious advent scripture cards in my cart for Maddox’s nursery! I shared Gracefull Glories at the top of this post and couldn’t help but include these cards in the kiddo roundup as well!

Bauble Stockings – Holiday Grace Bauble Stocking – I’ve seen several mamas on Instagram share that they have started a bauble stocking tradition for their kids and I kinda love it. I mean I really love it! These bauble stockings are hand stitched in Haiti and are just precious for a Christmas season family tradition!

Little English – Scottie Sweater – Another small business I adore for children’s clothing is Little English. The sweaters for little boys specifically are some of my very favorite apparel pieces out there! They are currently doing some great Black Friday deals and sales right now too!

Holly Slay Handmade – Hand Painted Ceramic Christmas Plate and Mug – A plate for Santa cookies is a must! I love the sweet designs this precious Etsy shop has for the holidays and year round! I’ll definitely be looking into getting one made for Maddox’s first birthday! Such a great keepsake!

Petite Keep – Petite Classic Trunk – At the top of my list of things for Maddox is one of the precious keepsake trunks! I get really sentimental when it comes to all of his “firsts” and special outfits and pieces that mark this sweet time. A Petite Keep trunk is the most ideal way to preserve and keep all of those special things in one place!

Scarlet Designs – Pink Taffy Gingham Backpack – I found Scarlet Designs later in my pregnancy and went to town ordering things for Maddox’s nursery and arrival! Two of my favorite things in his nursery are the monogrammed scallop pillow and windowpane blanket on his glider, both from there! They have such great price points on customized items and there is still just a bit of time left to order before the holiday window closes!

Two other small businesses I love for little ones are Lily Joy Stitching (a Tyler local!) and The Prince and Pup! Both are currently closed for the holiday season until January, but I couldn’t make this post without recognizing each of them!

I know that was a lot… thanks for hanging in there and if you read all of that, well, kudos to you! Like I said, these are just a few of many small businesses I love and love to support! Happy shopping!

xx,

Madison
